North America and the Middle East stand out in the global map as very high obesity rates. In contrast, Asian and African countries seem to have very low obesity rates.

In reality, the highest obesity rates with all of the top 10 spots in the world belong to Pacific Island countries. Nauru claims the number one spot with 61% of the population considered obese.

The lowest obesity rates belong to South, East and Southeast Asian countries with Vietnam being the lowest at 2.1%.
