Greenhouse gas emission for each food we produce
Updated: Aug 20, 2021
Greenhouse gases (GHG) such as CO2, SO2 and CH4 contributed to climate change.

Beef is by far the strongest GHG emission producer as cows produce methane (CH4) gas by burping. So are many of the red meat foods like lamb and park. Chocolate production is surprisingly not environmentally friendly. Vegetables and nuts generally produce the least environmentally harmful emissions.
Also, eating red meat is not good for your health either. It increases the chances of heart diseases and cancer.
