American cities where Chinese food is best and most popular

Chinese restaurants can carry various labels such as Szechuan, Cantonese, Shanghainese, Taiwanese, Dim Sum, etc. I obtained restaurant labels from Openstreetmap and calculated cuisine shares for each of the US cities with more than 500,000 residents (medium and large cities). The result is below.

New York city is the American city where Chinese food is most popular. The others in top five are Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston and San Jose.

Note: These numbers are estimations since the classification of restaurants and counting them is not a straightforward task.
